Subject: playstation

I HAVE A QUITE OLD PLAYSTATION OF SONY WHICH WORKS ON CD AND IT CANNOT PLAY DVD BUT I WANT MY PLAYSTATION TO PLAY DVD, I HAVE HEARD FROM A FRIEND OF MINE THAT MY PLAYSTATION WILL PLAY DVD IF I GET A DVD LENS N FIX IT INTO MY PLAYSTATION , I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE N HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST?

Sumana, If you playstation in model PS One no way.If is PS2 yes u can modify your set, but you can only play recorded DVD movies and not orginal movies with region code. It can be done for Usd50 to 60. But be warned it could spoilt your PS set if done by inexperince techie...Take my advice buy a DVD player also around the same price.... (Rated by 1 Council Member)

To a buy a lens and get it installed in the playstation ypu'd more than likely be better off just buying a PS2 or splash out and get a PS3 it's REALLY worth it! (Rated by 1 Council Member)
