Hai, There are eight planets in our Solar System since Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet in 2006.The eight planets of our Solar System starting with the one closest to the Sun are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

There are eight planets and five dwarf planets in the Solar System. In increasing distance from the Sun, the planets are: 1.Mercury 2.Venus 3.Earth 4.Mars 5.Jupiter 6.Saturn 7.Uranus 8.Neptune The 5 dwarf planets are —Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris
