Here is the question: I am looking to study some philosophy, but I am unsure where to or how to start. Philosophy seems to be very broad and intimidating for someone just getting into it. Is there any resources out there that can help me get my feet wet in this topic without diving totally in and becoming overwhelmed?

Go to the website http://wikipedia.org… and search for philosophy. Plenty of literature about all types philosophy are available. Though the subject is quite broad, there is nothing intimidating about it.
