anitha, how you doing?my special appreciations to you for taking excellent care of your child . plenty of researches are going on in us and europe to get some answers about this autism. right now there is no curative medication in any form of treatment including ayurveda and sidha. if any one says that they are treating , i honestly say he is lying without any doubt. in india many people can say and advertise that they have curative treatment, because there is no one to control these type of treatment centers and save innocent people from these cheaters. http://www.autismindia.com/article2… check the above link.it seems these guys doing some good work.call or visit them and find out how good it is? The combination, intensity, frequency, and duration of treatment are determined by an individual's needs, ongoing evaluation by the treating therapists and the attending rehabilitation physician who coordinates the care. along with this rehabilitation prevention of next stroke also important.so start evaluating and treating the risk factors like --- hypertension (high blood pressure) heart disease diabetes cigarette smoking high blood cholesterol levels finally medications with anti coagulants like heparin and antiplatelet drugs like aspirin if she had ischemic stroke has to be used under doctors guidance. control of blood pressure is most important if she had hemorragic stroke. some times she may need major surgery like removal of plaques from major artery supplying to brain (endarterectomy). as she is disabled she needs lot of physical and moral support from friends and family members. i read somewhere,in kerala there are some hospitals which provide massages, herbal medicines and naturotherapy.you can also try them after doing little bit research on those treatment modalities. i wish her a speedy and full recovery good luck.
