Some people use different preparations of sunni pindi, but for me what has worked best is just using 100% gram flour (not mixing with moong flour, which some also do). I have noticed that it gives glowing skin and is especially good for circulation when combined with a bit of turmeric.

Sunnipindi is a natural cleansing mixture. You can prepare it as follows:

Moong dal - 2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Milk powder - 2 tbsp Fennel seeds - 1/2 tbsp

Mix them and apply on your face and body.

Hope this helps you.

Hi Greetings.

Green whole moong dal flour is sunni pindi I am not sure how u can make it in london, in india, u will have a machine for that. In india, sunni pindi is prepared by neatly washing the whole green moong dal well, dry it in the sun for 3 to 4 days and then put it in the machine specified for it, it will become nice flour btw, what is the purpose of tht flour , is it to bathe and use for ur face or to make sunnundalu?? if for bathing and face care, then u can just dry roast whole green moong dal for 2 mins, put it in ur blender and make it a paste. Add little water/milk to make it creamier and use it for bathing instead of soap.

Best Regards, Mahathi

Hai HH,

whole green Moong dhal is sunni pindi. You have to grind it and use it for bathing instead of soap.
