This may not be universal, but one procedure is to do your reading in the morning. This can be part of your daily morning prayer routine. I find reading aloud is best for all but the extremely well-disciplined, as speaking the words aloud helps bring your entire mind and body to the moment. Obviously, you only have to read a small portion daily, 5-6 pages. It is best to pay less attention to the pagination and more attention to beginning and ending at logical spots. Some days this may mean reading more and some days reading less.

Best wishes with the vratham.

Hello Ramya,

Is it Telugu book?

Rukmini kalyanam Telugu book also contains 88 pages!

The above was taken from 16th Century Telugu Poet Sri Bommera Potana’s, Telugu translation of Sanskrit Srimadbagvatam, it contains around 108 slokas (Padyas) along with tika and tatparya (Meaning and Prose translation).

As per my knowledge (what I hear from elders / maternal grand mother) the actual procedure is (If you have suggested the above puja or vrata for marriage purpose) you have to study all of the Rukmini Kalyanam slokas/padyas completely, (if possible with Prose translation and other simple puja like dhoop, deep and naived to Godess Sri Lakshmi) daily for 16/40 days respectively.

It may hardly take around one hour.

I wish you success.
