Lets say it IT outsourcing which you will cover. Recommend that you break your project report into parts : Title Page, Contents, Foreword, introduction, Main topics ( history of outsourcing, India's strength, weakness, threat and opportunities, other rising players, how the marketing is done, role of operations and its effect on marketing, etc.), Case studies ( GE, Infosys, Wipro to the smaller ones and the various domains like banking, agricuture, medicine, etc. where we are contrbuting). Have a bibliography and show the sources where you got your data from. That brings us to part 2: Material. Go to the outsourcing forums andf post all questions, go to the company sites, go to newspaper and magazine sites and search ( and be patient while at it). Recommend you study a few model papers from Harvard, Stanford, yale , etc. which are available online.Use a good clean font and put in graphs and pictures to illustrate. Lastly, don't make it too thick so it looks like a only copy paste job. The above process can be used for any other topic like contract research marketing, Internet Advertising, Blogging and the gen y market, etc. Good Luck
