Subject: Whats the difference in use of QTP and WinRunner tools?

There are environments where you suppose to use both of them, why?

Hi Robert,

Visit: http://www.asi-test.com/WinRunner_v… All the information you need, i.e. difference between QTP tools & WR tools & the environment where both are used are given on this site in detail.

Lat week by chance I visited a message board & there I got this information where differences were given, here they are:

1. In WR xml checkpoints are not avaiable but it is in QTP

2. QTP supports for web based application where as WR doesn't.

3. In QTP data table will be present in same window but not same as in WR.
