Hi,

If not schooling, I can think of the below methods to improve your English skills.

1. There are numerous English learning books available in market which can be used. 2. Always try to speak in English, even though you are wrong in pronunciation or grammar. They'll get corrected as you go on. 3. Watch English/America movies with Subtitles on and using the Pause button whenever you want, to understand the pronunciation and usage of words, phrases etc.

Hope this helps.

Use a translation dictionary or phrase book to work English into your everyday language. Whenever possible , start conversations to practice your English.Speaking with native speakers is a challenge, but it is one of the best ways to learn the language. Ask people how to say things properly if you are unsure. You can ask a relative or a friend to be your tutor. You can buy books that help you learn English. Watch movies with subtitles. Buy newspaper and use a dictionary to give meanings of words in your native language.Practice will make you perfect with time. Where there is a will , there is a way.Read more for leisure, everything from newspapers, to books and magazines - the more you read the more you will expand your vocabulary and learn spelling. You can start typing in Microsoft Word, in which you can run "spell-check" and it will show you all your spelling errors. Also you can use this website Ammas.com to read queries and replies and use a dictionary that translates English words into the language you speak(native language). Good Luck.
