Subject: NCC quota seats collegewise in engineering of eamcet 2007

i want to know the NCC (boys) quota of OU region college wise in engineering of eamcet 2007.every year a copy of NCC certificate is asked to submit well in advance from the date of NCC counselling.this year starts from 11.09.2007 and when the copy of NCC certificate should be submitted.what are the chances of seat in engineering for a NCC A certificate boy.

every Engg college reserves a seats for NCC candidates. if u have NCC A certification means u have an advantage.. don't worry u will get a seat in a very good college.. Best of Luck

Dear Ravi,

The best information that can be provided is courtesy of the following site.… Admission The admission is based on merit list, prepared on the basis of marks obtained in EMACET. The certificates that must be produced during the counseling is as follows. • EAMCET- Rank card or Hall ticket • Intermediate Pass cum Memorandum of Marks • Certificate indicating Date of Birth (SSC or its equivalent). • Study Certificates from 6th class to Intermediate • Residence Certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e. Intermediate or its equivalent in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education. • Integrated Community certificate issued by the competent authority and Father’s Caste Certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates. • Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in A.P. excluding the period of their employment outside A.P. from M.R.O. in case of Non local candidates. • Three sets of Xerox copies of all certificates and four recent passport size photographs. • Physically Handicapped Candidates should bring the PH certificate issued by the District Medical Board. • Candidates belonging to “CAP” category should bring the latest CAP certificate issued by the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer and Discharge book for verification. Children of In-Service Personnel shall bring the Service Certificate of their parent from the concerned unit & Identity card for verification. • Candidates claiming reservation under “NCC” & “SPORTS” categories should bring the original certificates of concerned discipline. Reservation for Special Categories Seats shall be reserved in each course of an institution, for the following categories, to the extent indicated against them. Physically Handicapped - PH : 3% horizontal reservation in each category (OC,BC,SC,ST) for Visually handicapped/Hearing Impaired/Orthopaedically Handicapped (each 1%). Children of Armed Forces Personnel - CAP : 2% for the children of armed persons i.e. Ex-Servicemen, Defence personnel including the children of Border Security Force and the Central Reserve Police Force residing in Andhra Pradesh for a minimum period of 5 years. National Cadet Corps - NCC : 1% for National Cadet Corps candidates. Sports & Games - SP : 1/2% (half percent) for Sports and Games candidates. If qualified candidates belonging to NCC/SP/CAP categories are not available, the left over seats shall be filled up with the candidates of General pool. The left over PH seats shall be adjusted to their respective categories (OC/BC/SC/ST).

The NCC Quota is about 1% of the total available seats. Submit a copy of the certificate, along with all other certificates.

Andhra Pradesh

(a) Preference is being given to National Cadet Corps ‘B’/’C’ certificate holders for recruitment in police service. (b) National Cadet Corps training is being treated as additional qualification at the time of interview for direct recruitment in transport department.

Employment Field

(a) 1% seat is reserved for NCC certfifcate holders for admission to various degree and diploma courses in Osmania University. (b) 5% seat for NCC for LLB Courses in Osmania University are reserved. (c) 1% seat for NCC Cadets in Govt Polytechnics. (d) One seat each to NCC for PG Degree Diploma Courses and B.Ed./BCJ/BLI/SC Courses have been reserved. (e) 1% of total seat in courses of study reserved for NCC Cadets in Engineering Colleges. (f) 0.25% seats for NCC Cadets for admission into Medical Courses.

Cash Awards

(a) RDC (National level)

(i) All India Best Cadet 1st position – Gold Medal and Rs.1500/- (ii) All India Best Cadet 2nd position –Silver Medal and Rs.1000/-(iii) All India Best Cadet 3rd position- Bronze Medal and Rs.600/-

(b) Individual events in RDC (National Level)

(i) 1st position – Gold Medal and Rs.1000/- (ii) 2nd position – Silver medal and Rs. 600/- (iii) 3rd position-Bronze Medal and Rs.400/-

(c) Cash Award for RDC Participants(National Level)

Rupees 1000/- (one thousand only) to each cadet who participates in the Republic Day Camp.

(d) Centrally Organised Camps (National Level)

Rupees 1000/- to each Medal winning Cadet in COCs.

(e) Adventure Activities (National Level)

(i) Mountaineering Expedition - Rs.1000/- each Cadet who participates in Mountaineering Expedition.

(ii) Para Training - Rs.800/- per Cadet for participating in Para Training Course at Agra.

Medals & Cash Awards (State Level)

(a) Governors Medals

(i) Gold Medal : Rs.3000/- each to State level best six cadets (ii) Silver Medal: Rs.2000/- each to State level best six cadets

(b) Adventure Activities (State Level)

Sailing Expedition - Rs.500/- per cadet for Participating in Sailing Expedition.

Kit Souvenir Allowance for Cadets Selected for YEP

(a) Rs.3000/- for each Selected Cadet towards kitting of Cadets. (b) Rs.750/- for each to Selected Cadets towards Souvenir share.

Kit including Mufti Dress and Track Suit for Participants in Centrally Organised Camps(TSC Boys, TSC Girls, VSC & NSC) :

(a) RDC - Rs.4700/- for each Cadet of Contingent. (a) TSC(Boys) - Rs.2500/- for each Cadet of Contingent (b) TSC(Girls) - Rs.2500/- for each Cadet of Contingent (c) VSC - Rs.2500/- for each Cadet of Contingent (d) NSC - Rs.2500/- for each Cadet of Contingent

Kit Allowance and Scholarship for Cadets selected for NDA, IMA,Air Force, Naval Academy and OTA:

(a) Kit Allowance - Rs.1000/-for selected Cadets for NDA only

(b) Scholarship - Rs.100/- Per Month for NDA selected Cadet.

Rs.150/- Per Month for selected Cadets for IMA, Air Force and Naval Academy.

Scholarship for Best cadets in Republic Day Camp(National Level)

(i) 1st position Rs. 500/- per month for one year (ii) 2nd position Rs. 300/-per month for one year. (iii) 3rd position Rs. 200/- per month for one year

definately the quota in ou colles is 1% has there are very less peple with a certificte u will have a very good chance

Hello Ravishanker!

NCC quota in EAMCET is about 1% of the total seats available. I think there would be less students having NCC certificate, so you have a good chance of getting admission under NCC quota.

You can submit NCC certificate copy with other documnets & EAMCET application form. Its better, you read prospectus of EAMCET to confirmation about when to submit NCC certificate copy.
