XXX the cardinal number that is the product of ten & three 30 thirty,large integer an integer equal to or greater than ten. It is related to the film rating system which rates the appropriateness of films for audiences G,PG,PG-13,R &d NC-17. NC-17 used to be called X-rated & means no-one under the age of 17 is allowed to see the film whereas an R rated film may be viewed by a minor but only if accompanied by an adult. Films which were X-rated pornography would boast about how X-rated they were so X-rated in fact that they were XXX-rated. xxx stands for 3 kisses in a love letter. XXX or Triple X is normally used to refer to adult material or content. Triple X meaning something wildy exciting as such a stunt,trick or thrill.
