Hi Sreedhar, Here's the recipe for "RAWA UPPUMA"/the regular uppuma......... 1)fry bombay rawa(2 cups) for two minutes(without oil)....take it out and keep aside. 2)cut onions(3) and green chilies(12) lengthwise...keep aside. 3)Heat oil(1/4 cup) in a deeep curved pan ...add sesoning(mustard(1/2tsp),black gramdhal(1tsp),bengal gram dhal-(2tsp),broken cashewnuts-(2tbl.sps),curry leaves-(few), and chopped onions and green chilies. 4) once mustard starts to splutter..pour water(41/2 cups),add salt and let it boil...then add rawa while stiring in reduced flame (this prevents lump formation). 5)When moisture is absorbed and uppuma is cooked remove from fire. *6) squeeze lemon, mix well and garnish with grated coconut and cut corinader*(optional).
