Padumai,

You can try Parampara mix. You buy the mix for preparing Chole curry. If you like this curry you you can try all other varieties.

Dear Padumani, Now people have discovered the joys of a simpler, faster and fun way of cooking traditional Indian food. The Parampara line of ready masala mixes is a boon to the modern woman as it frees her from the pressures of cooking. At the same time it retains the traditional flavor of Indian cooking. All that is required is, to snip open the pack, add the masala and water to the vegetable or meat, let it cook and lo behold! A wonderful looking, lip-smacking dish is ready

people are bying these products.

Hi Padumai

I never use that Parampara mix .Some times I too will not get time to prepare that instant (other brand like gitts) mix dishes. But I am not throwing it I am keeping in freezer so that long time it won't spoil. If u uses some potion of pocket remain flour (Any thing like ravva ect...) u can close with rubber band and keep in freezer. I am keeping these items gram flour, maida, rice Flore, ground nuts, gram dhal, black gram dhal and gulam jamun mix like this which i am not using freakwentely

The best solution for the problem of buying and trashing unwanted grocery is making a list of things that you need before you set foot outside the door and very strictly adhering to that list. Buy a magnetic pad and stick it on your refrigerator. Throughout the week jot down the things you need on that paper and just before going for shopping add all the regular purchases to the list. This will very effectively minimize wastage.

Dear Padumai, Parampara mixes and the instant masalas are good. If you do not know how to cook or do have have time to cook from scratch then these can be god send. Now as to which are good, it all depends on what you like. Most of them are good as the company has good reputation. But Ofcourse you cannot compare it to home cooked food but still I would say Parampara,MTR,Legends of India re good.

Dear Padumati, Parmpara make gravy and masala mixes and are good to save time. However food cooked with Spices and recipes are best and can be modified.MDH.Badshah Masala and Shan are some good brands and their masalas are very good for tasty dishes. http://www.paramparamix.com/… Thre are some advantages with Paramparamix too: -No elaborate cooking procedures -Lets you concentrate on other things and takes the pressure of your back -Saves time so you can relax. -Simple and fast cooking -Lets you handle surprise guests, impromptu parties with élan. -Retains traditional flavor. -Authentic Indian food with no sweat.
