So to change the name of title in title bar html had a tag called ,where in between the starting and closing tags we write the name for the title whatever u want.

U can write a code for html in notepad or any text editor and save the file with name.html

An example for this can be

body/content of the HTML page

save as name.html and close it

Now for the open name.html, the title will be Welcome to Internet-Windows Internet Explorer and the body of the window will be body/content of the HTML page

is easy to change the default title of Internet Explorer. You just need to tweak registry a bit and it will change you Internet Explorer title bar. Here are simple steps to do it.

* Open your registry editor (Run > type regedit) * Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternetExplorerMain * In left pane right click and select New > String Value * Rename the new value to Window Title, double click the new string value you just made and enter the “new title” in the Data Value: box. This new title is text that you want to instead default (Microsoft Internet Explorer).

You are all done. This is basic trick using which you can rename internet explorer title bar.

Hit F3 to bring up the search menu and type “ window title .” That should take you to the following key:

KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

If you find Window Title double click on it and change the value to the name/sting you dwsire to have on your IE window.

2. In right-side pane, create a new String value Window Title and set its value to your desired text.

3. Thats it. Launch Internet Explorer and see your changed caption instantly.

NOTE: You can also use this tutorial in case the titlebar caption has changed automatically and you want to revert it back to default. Just delete the "Window Title" key andit'll fix the problem.
