Hello, 1.CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP IN DIABETOLOGY & ENDOCRINOLOGY The Department of Diabetology and Endocrinology at Manipal Hospital has introduced a 1-year full-time fellowship program for doctors with MD (General Medicine) qualification. This is recognised by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). There are 2 seats per year and the course begins from the month of January every year. The fellowship is awarded following an exam conducted by MAHE at the end of the 1-year program. The course includes postings in the out patient clinics and wards of various departments such as Diabetology and Endocrinology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Dietetics etc. on a rotational basis. Fellows participate in clinical projects and trials. The Fellows attend to a 24-hour Diabetes help line. Various academic activities such as PBL (problem based learning), Journal clubs, Seminars and bedside case discussion are conducted. Fellows are welcome to attend as well as conduct teaching programs for PG students. There is a well-equipped library with online facility within the hospital.
