Meenal, Amla juice is easily available in the marke. You may find it at the local ayurvedic chemist or at your nearby khadi bhawan. However, I would advise you to have amla in its raw form as such to derive maxium benefits out of it. It tastes a bit sour but if you drindk water after it, its taste will become sweet. Amla can also be had as a pickle or a murabba. Nowadays even amla candies re available in the market. As for amla juice, take some raw amlas and grate them using a kaddokas place them in a muslin cloth and press, you will get amla juice.

For shampoo purpose, it is best to use dry amlas, which are available in the market or you may sun dry fresh amlas for using them year roun. The dry amlas should be soaked in water whole night. In the morning , give it a boil and filter the mixture. The black liquid so obtained should be massaged into the scalp and preferably kept for 2-3 minutes. Wash it off with normal shampoo and find shiny strong hair. However, if you want to use amla as a shampoo itself, add some reetha powder into it . Reetha will act as a cleansing agent and make hair smooth and shiny. You may also make amla oil at home. Take some amla juice, add into til or coconut oil and let it boil, when all the water content has dried up, onlu oil will be left. Massage this oil onto your hair at least one hour before shampooing. However, do take care while making oil, as water in the oil makes it spill all over.
