Subject: little black spots in my face

I have a few pimples every month just as my period appears. I do not touch them or pop them but nontheless the black spot remains forever now my face is almost full of those black spots, I don;t know waht to do, my face is very dry but I applied moisturizer every day. Please Help. I am desperate

I think it is due to some hormonal problem, so you have to address that. Here are some methods for treatment of acne/pimple scars. Which one will be more effective for you with fewer side effects? Better to consult a dermatologist for complete analyses of your skin and proper treatment. Following are some home treatment of acne or pimple scars. 1. Turmeric and mustard seeds help to removes acne blemishes. Make a fine paste of turmeric and mustard seeds and apply on the scar at night, wash it off with water in the morning.

2. Cut the tomato in half and rub on the skin. Leave on for fifteen minutes. Wash it off with water. This will reduce open pores and blackheads. This treatment is good particularly for oily skin.

3. To get rid of blemishes, apply honey and lemon juice on them. Avoid contact with hair because honey reddens your hair.

4. Rub ice cubes on the face for 10-15 minutes. It will tighten the pores.

5. Buy vitamin e in the pill form. Open the pill open and it will be an oily substance. Rub that all over your face

6. Apply cucumber juice on the face. Wash it off after 15 minutes. It will tighten the pores.

7. Make a sandalwood paste with rose water and apply on the scars. Keep it overnight and wash it with cold water the next day. If you find that your skin becomes dry in the morning, you leave it only for a few hours on your face or you may try adding some milk while making paste. This is an excellent and wonderful remedy to get rid of acne blemishes.

8. Large pores on facial skin can be treated with paste of sandalwood (chandan) powder with black gram (masoor) dal. Keep it overnight and wash it with cold water the next day. Cosmetic corrective procedures for Acne scars

Various chemical agents like Retinoic acid, Trichloracetic acid, Alpha hydroxy acid or Phenol are used to induce exfoliation of superficial layers of skin. Dermabrasion:

Collagen Injection:

Used to fill up and level up skin unevenness and smoothen it.

Excision & Punch Graft:

Deep pitted scars can be excised and punch grafted. Acne, commonly known as 'Pimples' is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the pilosebaceous unit (hair follicle and oil producing glands). It is one of the commonest conditions affecting the teenage population. Usually they subside spontaneously within a few years, but a small percentage of them continue to have them even in their early thirties. Acne is due to various reasons. There is increased stickiness of the cells that line the opening of the hair follicle due to which the sebum which is normally secreted out through this route, gets blocked, resulting in the 'blackhead'. There is also an increased amount of the bacteria 'Propioni bacteria acnes' which normally resides there in small numbers. There is also increased sebum production due to the hormonal variation that takes place at the time of puberty. Acne can either be non-inflammatory (just blackheads) or they can progress to larger lesions filled with pus, which ultimately scar. Topical medications in the form of lotions, gels etc. is sufficient for small non inflammatory ones, but once pus filled lesions are present, oral antibiotics are necessary, in addition to the topical medications.

Hi Apply warm olive oil and massage.Wash after 10 moniutes. Do this daily till the black spots diappear. Take a cup of sandal wood powder and half cup of oatmeal. Mix with milk and rose water and scrub all over face , until mark fades.

Take a tsp of milk and honey and massage face with it, clean, tone and moisturize skin daily.

apply lemon juice or tomato juice before going to bed and in the morning wash with cold water.do regularly &u'll definetely notice the change.good luck.

The body generally increases heat during those days and the pimples are the result.

Try to eat foods that can cool down your body and that will help. Cooling down the body does not mean to eat icecream. Icecream actually increases the heat of the body.

If you are comfortable with eating cooked bitter gourd, then you must eat it during those days. Drink, a lot of water and if possible, coconut water/tender coconut water.

Apply Sandal Paste to the pimples if they sprout out. mix a bit of sandal powder in rose water and apply it around the pimple. This will ensure the pimple matures and ripens faster and gets sorted without leaving a mark.

Eat cucumbers during the week.Drink Rose based drinks, avoid tea/coffee. Eat fresh vegetables.

Make a paste of either half a piece of nutmeg/ six to eight jamun seeds with water/ rose water. Apply on your face. Leave to dry. Then, wash with cold water and pat dry.

Squeeze half a fresh lemon into one glass of freshly boiled milk. Leave for half and hour, then apply on your face before retiring to bed.

Take 125 ml (¾ cup) of tomato juice and squeeze in half a lemon. Add five to seven mashed mint leaves and black salt to taste.

Drink this every morning and evening for at least one week. It will help detoxify the body.

Home remedies for a glowing complexion :

You can also do facial once a week, or before going for a party or for an occasion. Note of caution: If your skin is sensitive to any natural product, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist before using any of the given remedies.

Please wash your face before using any of these face packs.

Diet tips

Diet can play a major role in imparting glow and freshness to your skin, some of the tips that can help are:

Drink 12 to14 glasses of water everyday.

Avoid eating to much of fried foods like vadas, samosa, chips, bhajias, etc. Stick to fresh vegetable salads or fruit salads.

Eat all types of fresh, green vegetables and all types of fresh, juicy fruits (except for strawberries and mangoes; they are heaty and overconsumption can lead to acne).

Avoid consuming too much of heaty food like chillies, garlic, non-vegetarian items or dried fruits like dates.

Detoxify once a month by consuming fresh vegetables, fruits and liquids all day.

Its due to hormones change duing those days.regulor exercise and low fat deit help u lot.For already formed block spots applay mint leaves paste u can start seeing result in one month.

Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water. About 15 days of application helps in reduction of pimples and reduces black spot.

Brown spots - Brown spots, liver spots or age spots are caused due to excessive exposure to sun. Products which contains vitamin E, fruit acids, and enzymes are recommended which are found in papaya, pineapple, mixed with lemon juice or milk. Age spots could also deminish with the use of lemon juice as astringent and an aloe vera gel and glycerine moisturizer (3/4 parts of aloe vera gel and 1/4 part of natural vegetable glycerin).

For acne and facial black spots - Herbal face pack - 1 part sandal wood powder + ½ part Manjistha powder (optional) + 1/8 part nutmeg powder + 1/8 part turmeric powder - make a paste in room temperature water and apply thin layer on the face and neck. Let it dry and wash it off.

To remove black spots use potato juice

u should also take care of general health like eating plenty of vegetables, fruits along with plenty of water. Researchers say that sometimes stress is also responsible for doing some skin problems. So please try to lead a stress free life.

Dear Carline,

Avoid excess meat, sugar, tea or coffee, condiments, pickles, soft drinks, candies, ice cream, refined and processed foods. Have lots of lemon juice, corriander soup, mint juice & water. Go for a fat-less diet with plenty of green salads and fruits. Apply crushed orange peel or paste of fenugreek or a mixed paste of sandalwood & turmeric on affected area. Wash your face with lukewarm water, with a Neem based soap thrice a day. If you get some shahanas products or himalaya products use it to make skin moisturized. 24 carat Gold Moisturizing Gel of Shahanas is best.

A teaspoon of coriander juice, mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder, is another effective home remedy for pimples and blackheads. The mixture should be applied to the face after thoroughly washing it every night before retiring. Mint juice can be used in a similar manner as coriander juice.

Hi,

The eruption of pimples is very common during menstual cycles due to the hormonal changes that occur.However,this can be prevented by washing the face regularly and using antibacterial wash and cleansing the face thoroughly.The moisturiser that you choose should not make u oily and must be appropriate to your skin type.Try using Aloe extract preferably whole leaf extract,or aloe juice too..u can also try cocoa butter cream moisturiser with VITAMIN E as this can reduce the black spots.
