Subject: we the students of a college are going t...

we the students of a college are going to participate in a robotics competition called robowars in IIT Bombay so we want to leave for Bombay from Hyderabad in flight so our robotics parts lik motors,wheels,batteries,iron materials lik weights are allowed in baggage of aeroplane to carry them to Bombay for competition....?

Hi,

Since 9/11, most metallic parts are not allowed in the carry on luggage on most airlines.

However, it is very easy to pack your robotic parts/equipment in strong boxes with stuffing so that they are not damaged during baggage handling.

I don't think so. You cannot carry metallic objects along with you. Maybe you can take them by air transport and collect it there.
