When you arrive at the Training Centre, you’ll be met by one of our experienced instructors, who will remain with you throughout the course. All our instructors are experienced airline pilots who take great care and satisfaction in mentoring the next generation of airline pilots.
2)This is the part that everyone enjoys most. You will get to experience the thrill of flying a huge, powerful airliner with hands-on guidance from your instructor. It’s not just about having fun though, as there is a serious purpose to the simulator flight. That is to give you a privileged behind-the-scenes insight into the working environment of an airline pilot, and to assess your natural aptitude.
3)The Future Pilot Programme takes place at London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester – at professional airline Training Centres where airline pilots from carriers such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, BMI and easyJet are trained and tested.

Here?s a step-by-step guide to getting into commercial aviation: Student Pilot License (SPL) - After SSC you could register with a flying club, recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), followed by a written test. Then you have to get your medical check-up certified by the Institute. Private Pilot License (PPL) - This is the second step. A minimum of 15 hours of flying training with instructors, and solo for 60 hours is required. For this you have to be minimum 17 years of age, 10+2 pass with Physics and Mathematics with SPL. Few flying clubs and institutes allow you to register directly for PPL. Commercial Pilot License (CPL) - This could be obtained from any DGCA recognised flying training institute. Apart from a minimum age of 18 you also need a certificate of fitness issued by a Medical Board approved by the DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Academically you need to have completed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics or B. Sc with Physics, Maths and Chemistry. PPL or 60 hours of flying experience with 30 hours of solo in the last 3 years. For a license, 250 hours with cross-country & night flying experience. Clear the written examination. The cost can be around Rs. 12 lakhs -15 lakhs Airline Transport Pilots Licence (ALTPL) - This is the final step in becoming a full-fledged airline pilot. It involves flying for over 1500 hours in a variety of aircrafts apart from passing the theory papers. All the Best, Growth Centre Team

If you have taken Physics and Maths as subject in 10+2 you can enrol for Commercial Pilot License training. For details you should visit Indian DGCA website www.dgca.nic.in,This… website gives full details and procedures. You can do training abroad but you would require Indian endorsement for which you have to pass few regulation papers and carry out a route check in India.Indian training is considered better because you get better idea of operating environment and Indian routes and flying procedures as well as regulations. However both in India and abroad you should be careful which flying academy to choose because there are lot of fake academies. You should find out availabilty of aircraft, instructors, cost and time taken by academy in completing your flying hours before you enrol.DGCA website also lists approved academies in India with available infrastructure.
