Query from: Davis, USA, 09/15/05
Topic: COOKING      Submitted on:
Subject: english name for UCHELLU in kannada

Can you tell me the english name for UCHELLU in Kannda language. This is slightely different from (Ellu or Achellu in kannda). I am trying to buy UCHELLU oil in USA, but do not know the english name. The Seeds of UCHELLU are thin, black in color and longer than the seeds of Achellu. It looks like the black hair cut into 0.5cm long.

thanks Here is email address. ********@*****.***

I think you are probably mentioning Sesame seed oil. It is available in Indian stores. Good luck.
