Dear Mr Kumar

Your Provident Fund Account number it self gives your Establishment Code Number. Do you know your P.F.Account Number? The number is like AP/XXXXX/XXX. In this AP represents the state in which your establishment is present(In this case AP represents Andhra Pradesh). The next 5 X's after / represents your establishment's code number? Here it is impossible for one person to claim his P.F.Dues without knowing his P.F.account Number. You have to fill various forms to claim your P.F. In those forms you have to fill your P.F.Account number. Even if you have applied through your establishment directly for claiming your P.F., you need to sign in those forms. At that time it self you might have found your P.F.Account number. One more thing is, I am unable to under stand ehy you are unable to find your establishment code number if you know your company. Ask the P.F.dealing clerk about your establishment code number. Otherwise you can check annual P.F.account slip provided by the P.F.Department i which your establishment code number is present.

Are you willing to find out your claim status through online? If so, the establishment code number can not known to you unless you follow the above cited instructions. I suggest you to inquire through phone with the P.F.office in which your establishment is remitting the P.F.Contributions of its employees. And more over don't rely upon the internet for your claim status. You need to visit the P.F.office,for the status. The various addresses and Phone numbers and also email id's of P.F.office's are available with EPF website.

If you still have doubts in finding the Code number of your establishment, write name of your establishment in your future question. This may help the advisers to answer your question.

Best Wishes to you

Establish Code is the code number given to your organiation. Extension no is for the branch of your organisation if any.

The Employee code is the code alloted by your organization which deducts the contributions. You can also write to the grievance redressal at this address.

The first letters or numbers before an oblique (/) sign is the establishment code and the characters coming after the (/) sign is your personal PF No.

when you are sending the claims you might have filled the coloum of pf account number as state/establishment codenumber/your account number (for example: if it is maharashtra, the account number is mentioned like MH/12345/5677 - here mh denotes the state,12345 denotes the establishment code and 5677 denotes your account number).Still you donot have the same, you can ask your employer over phone about the establishment code number and your account number
