Hi venkat! Gram flour 2 cups Sugar 2 cups Baking soda ½ tsp. Cashewnuts 50 gms. Raisins 50 gms. Cardamom 15 nos. Saffron A few strands Milk A few drops Ghee ½ kg.
1.Shell and powder cardamom. Add ¼ cup water to sugar, heat until sugar melts. 2. To check if the sugar solution is ready, take a drop of the solution and drop it in water-if it remains intact and does not dissolve right away in water, the sugar solution is ready. 3. Add boondi, cashew and raisins to sugar solution and mix. Cool. 7. Rub some ghee on your palms. Make laddus by squeezing the boondi in your hands. from:http://forumhub.com…
Gram flour 250gms Saffron colour a pinch Sugar 1/2 kg Saffron 1gm Ghee(for frying) as needed Rose Water 1tsp Almonds and Pistachio (chopped) 3tbsp Cardamom powder 1tsp
Method:
Mix water and colour in Besan to prepare batter (like batter for pakora) and beat it.
Carry out a test to check batter. In a cup of water pour a drop of batter, if the drop starts floating it indicates the right consistency of the batter.
In a large kadai prepare sugar syrup and mix saffron.
Take a Kadai (preferably iron one) and heat ghee.
Pour the batter through a strainer into the kadai, fry for some time and take it out.
Shift this boondi to hot sugar syrup and stir it nicely. After 2-3 minutes, as it softens take it out.
Mix Rose water, nuts, cardamom and saffron.
Take little boondi in your hands and prepare small round balls out of this mixture. (www.womeninfoline.com/…)
