They make many other sweets common to some or many other states in India also. Namkeens are garelu, bajjeelu, chegodeelu, chittiboorelu, janthikeelu, chakkilalu, pulihora, daddhojanam, etc. and many other all India namkeens also. A cookery book by Malathi chandoor includes the recipes for these and many many more exclusive andhra recipes. Importance from health point of view depends on the climate etc. where you eat these recipes and your own health condition. All are nutritional only.
