Is it safe to eat gongura during pregnancy?

Itis safe to eat gongura during pregnancy but in limited quantity only.

Mango ,gongura, ginger are heat producing. So better to avoid these till your delivery.if u want to take u can take with dal like gongura pappu that to weekly once or twice .

Dairy products such as milk, paneer and curd, Sesame seeds and ragi, Green leafy vegetables like palak, gongura, drumstick leaves, etc are of good sources of calcium and gongura have iron also. so take gongura in leafy form only in pappu.

Pickles in general are heat producing. But then that does not mean you have to avoid pickles totally ( unless yours is a high risk pregnancy and you are having BP). You can take pickles, but take in moderation. I will not recomend that you eat daily. May be 1/2 spoon once in two days or so with lots of curds, will not harm u in anyway so better avoid completly or take once in 2 or 3 days.

Hi,

Gongura does not have any ill effects on pregnancy. It is adviced to limit its intake because over consumption of it can cause acidity and can increase the body tempertaure.Avoid its excess intake but in minimum quantities it does not have any side effects.
