Hi, My son's date of birth is 26 July 2005,at 1:28p.m Chennai,India. As per thiruvakya panchangam, his birthstar is Uthratadhi, but as per thiruganitha,it is Revathy.Which one is right,Iam confused. Can anyone help me with the right birth star and which panchangam is acceptable. Thanks in advance.
Please note that in order to eliminate controversies the Govt of India had set up a committee way back head by Shri NC Lahiri to form ephemeries.
The ephemeries of Lahiri / Raman / KP are close to each other and are proper.
As per NC Lahiri ephemeries Moon is stationed at 16-55 in Pisces and very in Revati 1 padam. Utharabhadrapada or Uthrittathi will expire when Moon is at longitude of 16-40 in Pisces. Please ignore local panchangas which will have difference when a distance of 30 kilometers to each other, or in other words from District to District there will be difference.
Dear A, I have no comments on the panchangams mentioned by you. I have prepared the horoscope of the boy on computer and the result is The Janma Nakshatra of ur son is Revathi Second padam.Moon is in pisces at 23-13 degrees.SO Nakshtra is Revathi second padam. I have also checked up in another site and the horoscope of ur son is attached. That site also indicates Revathi. I hope this aspect is clear. with best wishes
DEAR, THIRUGANITHA PANCHANGAM IS THE BEST,ITS -REVATHI (1)PRATHAM CHARANA, AND THE NAKSHATRA AKSHAR IS "DE". MOREVER,UR SONS RAASI IS MEENA N LAGNA IS TULA, HE IS UNDER THE EFFECT OF KALSARPA YOG, CHANDAAL YOG(GURU HEMNED IN BETWEEN RAHU N KETU) N CHANDRA GRAHAN (CHANDRA HEMNED IN BETWEEN RAHU N KETU). UR SON IS ALSO HAVING MANGAL IN THE 7TH HOUSE BUT ITS IN HIS OWN SIGHN OF MESHA SO NO PROBLEM RELATED TO THE KUJA DOSHA. BUT ITS ADVISABLE TO U NOT TO WORRY MUCH ABOUT THE NAKSHATRAS, BUT TO PERFORM THE NIVARANA OF KALSARPA N CHANDAL N CHANDRA GRAHAN YOG.ITS BETTER FOR UR SONS FUTURE. HARIHAR.
Your son's birth star is Revathy as your son's Moon is placed in Pisces and degree is 16-55 and so Revathy is correct and so thiruvakya panchangam is giving the right picture.
I wish you all the very best in your endeavors and pray to almighty to bestow health, happiness and prosperity on you. With kind regards Ajay Kukreja Astrologer
According to the usage of the Panchangam, different persons adopt different pnachangams in different localities. Some use the panchangam according to the religion groups they belong to. But in general most of the panchangam users are adhering to the 'thirukkanith' panchangam only. Since retifies all the defects in the Aynamsam spudam. It is like 99.9% purified gold. Vakkiya panchangam is adopted by some persons to celebrate the movements of imporant planets such as Guru peyarchi and Sani peyarchi etc. Thererfore it si not doubt that 'thirukkanith is the best method to adopt. You may take that the result and the planetery positions, star positions arrived out of the thirukkanith is the best and real one.
Your son was born when Libra was rising at 27 deg 59 min 16 sec. The Moon was at 16 deg 55 min 44 sec in Pisces. The Moon was in Revati nakshatra.Your son's birth star is Revati. I find Chitrapaksha ayanamsha the right one to use. It is generally used all over the country.
Drik ganitha method is the more reliable one. Even in the olden days when people used vaakya panchangams extensively, astrologers knew what corrections to be applied to the vakya values so that the graha sphutam (the accurate degree of planet) is obtained. In classics like prashna marga, the method is clearly explained. This obviously implies that vaakya panchagam is not accurate for calculating planetary longitudes.
Go by the drik ganitha method to calculate your son's birthstar. Yes...it is Revathi. Computer generated value is also the same.
Dear Anonymous, United Kingdom I have tried to make your son's chart based on Lahiri Aynamsha which is acceptable throughout the world as it is supported by the study in the astronomical research center based at Calcutta. based on this your son's moon degree at the time of birth is Pisces 16 degree 55 min and 44 seconds. and is in revati first Charan. if the birth of the child would have been before 1.00 PM it would have been Uttar bhadra nakshatra, what you are saying. abrol
Hi there, Your son's star as per Nirayana Lahiri Ayanamsa as drawn out on the computer is Revathi 2nd Pada only and not Utharadhi. Nirayana Ephemeris based chart preparation is widely accepted across India and is also the standard model of chart preparation followed. Hope this clarifies your doubt.
Revati first charna is the absolute correct. Offer one black cow on Amavasya to a Brahmin. This child will be rid of 100 doshas and will attain name, fame, good health and long life.
