No unless the boy and girl have very valid reasons for this to click. It is because women become old rather quickly than men and as per our culture the man should be at least three years older than the girl to be married.

However decision is theirs. Think ! think! and think and act.

In ancient days, our elders kept certain rules & regulations only for the sake of various reasons like the girls become & look matured fast compared to boys.But, now a days it has become a common issue & is solvable.So they can marry as long as their understanding is mutual.
