Hi,

Flaxseed is known as San or Alsi in Hindi. Some people also call in Linseed.

A decilitre is one tenth of a litre. That means it's 0.1 litre or 10 centilitre or 100 millilitre. It's about 3.4 ounces or 0.42 cup.

Hope this helps.

The flaxseed plant (called linseed in Europe) is an ancient crop. It is known as “Alsi “ in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.

5 Tips to include flax seed in home cooking:

Sprinkle whole or ground flax seed on your cereal and salads Substitute flax seed mixture for eggs in home baking such as muffin and pancake (1 tbsp milled flax seed, plus 3 tbsp water = 1 egg). Final products will have less volume and taste grumpier Include in other recipe when nutty flavor is preferred Substitute flax seed oil for other oils
