|Chop green chilis and curry leaves.|
Soak chana dal in 1 cup of water for 30 minutes and later
drain the water.
In a wide bowl, mix rice flour, gram flour, carom seeds,
chopped chili and curry leaves, soaked chana dal, butter
and salt. Mix well and then add a few tablespoons of water
as required until the mixture turns to a soft dough. Divide
into walnut sized balls and flatten into 1/4 inch thick,
Heat oil in a deep skillet and when oil is hot, add a few
at a time. Fry until both sides turn golden.
Remove from oil and cool.
