There may be some parents who are well versed about applying for admission to engineering college of their choice. I think the procedure is different in different States. Some states have entrance test while some do not have entrance test. !) What is the minimum percentage of marks prescribed in +2 examination to join engineering college? 2) What is the procedure for applying to engineering colleges? Is it separate application to be sent to each and every college or a common application is to be sent? 3) What are the reputed deemed universities and the procedure for joining in these universities? 4) What are the points to be looked into before deciding about the college for admission? I request a comprehensive answer may be given in respect of your State so that aspiring students hailing from that State will be benefitted. 5) In case some other relevant points are to be mentioned please give them for use of parents/students.

In Tamilnadu, there is NO entrance test for past three years to join in Engineering college and still it is present as such.
Minimum percentage of marks to get admission in Engineering colleges is 50
