Hindi and [mujhe] vs. [mujh ko] |
| Question: | |
In the first line of a Hindi song, you get the following:
kabhii mujh ko hansaaye kabhii mujh ko rulaaye mujhe kitnaa sataatii hai
I have three questions:
1) What does this mean? 2) Why does it say [hansaaye] instead of [hansaayii], and [rulaaye] instead of [rulaayii]? 3) Most importantly! Why do we have [mujh ko] in the first part, and [mujhe] in the second part? What is the difference? Can I say instead:
kabhii mujhe hansaaye, kabhii mujhe rulaaye, mujh ko kitnaa sataatii hai?!
