Though you have too late in finding fault and correcting the mistakes in your passport once issued in past, even now you can do it by filing the specific form for the same and paying the fees stipulat

Hi, I want to marry my boyfriend, he has been living illegally in the UK, How do we go about getting married? I understand the best option is for him to go back to india via a travel document and me to go and get married there and bring him back. but now they have started to take fingerprints, also i would like a realistic timescale of this process?

You are talking about two separate issues. Marriage and immigration. Nothing stops you from getting married or being in marital relationship in U.K. Yes for any visa to be considered he needs to go

I am planning to marry a girl who is a Croatian national, i have gone to visit her once in Croatia and as per pur plans she is coming down to india by October 2009 and we plan to get married as per Muslim Law by Dec 2009
1. We are confused about what kind of Visa to Apply what she should be telling during the Visa process should she be telling she is going with the purpose of marriage or visiting as a tourist. 2. she doesnt have plan to return after marriage and would be staying with me what steps we should take to do that?

She should be comming to India with a Tourist Visa and latter after the Marriage she can request for a permanent Resident Status.
