  H1B stamping is required espeically if you are traveling overseas including Canada. It is always better to have VISA STAMP in the passport for emergencies, since it is difficult to get an appointment

Question:  hello, I am on h4 status presently. I applied for green card for future employment,and i got my EAD.But i did not start working on that Ead for the past 18 months.Now i got an interview for my Green card(AOS). My question to you is will the immigration officer ask me why i am not working on EAD ? The truth is i am trying for jobs, but there are none in this recession.so if the immigration officer asks me this question what do i answer? Thanks a lot rv

Having an EAD does not mean you HAVE to work. it simply is an document authorising you to work.
