Subject:  oily smell( nune vasana) in murukulu/chekkalu !
Question:  hello, i want to make chekkalu & murukulu..i have been makin them 4rm long & they taste really good...but 4rm last 2 times they started smellin oily( nune vasana) after i put them in box(plastic container) just 4r 5 sec after openin the lid & later they r gud..b'coz of that my hubby dint eat them..taste really good..i used oil which in which i fried gobi 65 before..is that the reason or is it b'coz i closed them wen they were still warm ( i cant remember)..i want to make them now 4r guests & dont want that to happen again..i use rice flour base 4r chekkalu & rice flour with pesara pindi 4r murukulu..if someone has any idea as to why this is happenin & tips to prevent, pls reply fast..i'm plannin on makin them now..

  You should not have used recycled oil and it is always advisable not to cover anything hot. Let it cool, cover and then you keep it in the fridge for preserving it.
