| Question: | |
The American Dental Association guide to Clean Teeth and Gums http://www.ada.org/public/topics/cl… only suggests to brush the
chewing surfaces of the teeth.
However brushing cannot remove food or plaque from inside grooves so food left trapped after every meal or snack
accounts for 80% of cavities occuring inside these grooves on chewing surfaces.
If chewing forces sugar inside grooves, wont chewing fibre like celery string, foce saliva inside grooves to dilute and remove sugar, neutralise acid and repair demineralised tooth.
