I hv completed my 16vrat of Maa Santoshi and would like to perform her udhayapan, but the language on the net or in katha booklets is very difficult (momandar puri,chana shaag???)and even the vidhi is very vague.
So can anyone help me
1)do I need to do it in mandir with a panditji or can the udhayapan be at home
2)what preparations do i need to make food and otherwise
3)any particular precautions or care that I need to take

I am a lord ganesg devotee.actually i was wearing a Lord ganesh pendant and sai baba (given by priest) pendant for more than 5 yrs by thinking that its protecting n guiding me in day to day life.
Recently my wife friend muslim girl came to my house by seeking some help since her husband caught by the immigration.I also helped her thru my contacts and i managed to do my best to rescue him.But this girl was staying in my house that 3 days but last week thursday she stolen my lord ganesh ,sirdi sai baba and my wedding diamond rings.Normally i use to keep in the pooja room b4 i got to bed.Now the girl who took in my things also not happy since suddenly immigration dept said they wont release the husband and also they said they gonna black list him so that nex 5 yrs he cant enter malaysia.I think she took my gold items to purchase air ticket for her hub.
Actually sentimentally I feel very sad since i lost my lord ganesh..? How do ihave to take the situation ?Is it a bad sign or good sign ?need religious true answer and clarifications for my query.Pls dont give answer to cool me.
