Hello, I want some information on Asperger's syndrome. Is it a real disease? How can one know if oneself, or a friend or relative suffers from it? It seems it would be impossible to self-diagnose such a thing? Is that true? What treatments are available and how would you convince a person who has it to seek treatment? I have a friend who seems to fit what I've heard about the symptoms, but (perhaps because of the symptoms) I doubt this person would ever consider the condition as something that needs treating.
