From:  Bhanu Prasad, India, Mar/10/09 submitted on: Ammas.com
Subject:  Life in Albuquerque for Indian
Question:  Dear Ammas, I am working for an American co in their office in Dubai. I have been offered a position in their office in Albuquerque. I am from Andhra Pradesh. I have two sons of age 8 and 5 years. How good is the life in Albuquerque for an Indian. (family life, security & safety for women and children etc). Cost of living compared to other similar states in US. Are there Indian schools with Indian curriculum and Telugu as one of the languages taught in the school. What is the form of entertainment for an Indian. For a family of four how much would one need to earn to break-even (considering that one would not lead a very lavish life at the same time will be able to have a comfortable life). How are Indians treated in Albuquerque. I would appreciate if you could help me with a detailed answer and also guide me on any other issues which are are very important (not considered by me)for anyone planning to shift to USA in general and Albuquerque in specific. Thanking you in advance Bhanu Prasad
