Subject:  Nose digging
Question:  Thanks in anticipation of your support. When I idle / relax at home or watch TV channels I start nose digging for a moment..how do I avoid this embarassment? My daughter keeps chiding me as a Dirty Daddy. I seldom realise it and think it is due to my travel (very rare) in dusty roads on a motor cycle. I try nose blowing when I have my bath daily, but fail to clear my nose as it is OK then. I work in an airconditioned office..will that be a reason.

Subject:  Can brushing prevent tooth decay?
Question:  Do you think that the following statement indicates that brushing cannot prevent tooth decay? "It is estimated that 84% of the caries experience in the 5 to 17 year-old population involves tooth surfaces with pits and fissures. Although fluorides cannot be expected appreciably to reduce our incidence of caries on these surfaces, sealants can." SOURCE: Journal of the American Dental Association 1984; 108:448.
