| Question: | |
I am a born Christian (mom and dad both are Christians). Now our families are talking about marriage and the girl's family is asking about original caste. My mom is from telaga family. I know that telagas come under OC. My dad is from Adi-Andhra family. Now, what I am confused is that, I have seen online that some sites are saying it comes under BC and some saying it comes under SC and some saying it comes under OC. Can you please tell me what category an adi andhra caste comes under in Andhra Pradesh?

Hello

| Question: | |
Hello
I am a Reddy and My GF is Lingayat. Both our parents are not happy with the marriage. I also came to know that when ppl with different castes get married then there are issues with customs to be followed during the marriage.
So, I was looking for a platform where we both can be married with out hassles of the customs. Arya Samaj is one good platform. But Arya Samaj performs marriage based on Vedic traditions. But Lingayats do not believe in Vedic Traditions. So is there any other platform (apart from registered marriage) which will be amicable for both of our families?
