Without EAD,L2 Visa holder is not authorised to work in USA. If you do so, it may create problems in other filings like H1, Greencard, etc and your visa may be cancelled and asked to deport.Its always

If you are married and if your spouse holds US citizenship then you can work on L2 without EAD.Otherwise you need to have EAD to get a job in US.

You must get EAD with L2 VISA to work in usa..if your wife is us citizen, then not necessary. Without EAD,u may not get your pay and ,green card and H1B visa’s sanction and process will be difficult.

It is illegal to do a job with out EAD. If u do it and if u are caught then you will be in big trouble. SO don't ever take chance of doing a job without EAD. Anyway you can see the website

Hi,
I am in US right now on a b2 visa entered on the 13th of march with my husband for a honeymoon.
Luckily i have found a recruiter who wants to offer me a great job with a handsome salary wanting me to join asap. I have read information about changing status but was a bit confused if i should apply for change of status from B2 to E3 to go to Canada and get a visa stamped or go back to Australia and get a visa stamped.
Plz i need some help with this.
