Question:  I have two questions on vastu:

1) Is it ok to have a flowing water body and/or garden in brahmastanam in an east facing house? I heard from someone that it is not good but we have seen brahmin houses and old houses having "maadam" in the center of the house and people wash hands or use water there.

2) Is it fine if the brahmastanam is hollow? 1 or 2 feet hollow than the house level?

Subject:  IMPORTANT QUERY
Question:  Dear ammas, I have many ganeshas in my house. Somehow over the years, I collected them. I used to display them in my new house. Then I recently moved and for certain reasons had some of my boxes in storage. I had many problems before I moved. After I moved, I was setting in and happy. I then last week went and got my ganesha box and put them all out again. They are all small statues. Within a week, I see many mental problems. I also have many laughing buddha statues. Same story. I recently was told it was not good to have this many ganeshas at home. Also that laughing budda is not good for home. I now want to give it away. I live in us. what to do? please advice. Thanks.

  Rahul,

Your septic tank in north direction is fine. Septic tanks should be located in between North and NorthWest or between East and SouthEast.
