Subject:  Heat wave and prevention
Question:  Every year in India during pre Monsoon season heat wave condition prevails. It claims human life and leaves enormous hardship to the people. Meteorologist used to say the subsidence of air from High Pressure-i.e decending air- takes away all the moisture and virtual temperatures shoots up by 3 or 4 degree of the prevailing[normal] temperature. To avoid this if water along the path of the decending air is sparyed it may reduce compressional heating. Thus it will give some respite to people during hot summer especially when the air is subsiding. What do you think about this?
