Hi, i have join a company for 10 days then i leave it without any notice .
now they asking me to pay for notics period. i did not sign any bound . i have only sign on appointment letter which say that u need to pay one month salary if u leave without notics.That is on company letter head.
In appointment letter there is one point \"you will initially be on probation for a period of one year that may be extended or reducd at sole discretion of base unit. during the period of probation,the appoitment is terminable either by base unit or by you by giving one month\'s notics or payment of gross salary in iieu thereof.\"
they have not paid me anything to me ,
How can they ask me to pay, they have not given me salay ,

You signed the appointment letter, binding you to the aggreement. However, since you were never compensated by the company, it is highly unlikely that they will pursue any payments from you.

Well you can challenge that because it is an unilateral clause that was put in by the company and was not offically signed by you.
You dont need to pay.
