Tamarind Pulihora

List of ingredients:

2 cups rice  
2 tb sp oil  
2 red chillies  
1 tb sp urad dal  
3 tb sp peanuts  
1 tb sp chana dal  
1/2 tb sp mustard seeds  
asafoetida  
1 tb sp turmeric powder  
2 tb sp tamarind concentrate  
curry leaves  
2 tb sp sesame seeds  
4 green chillies  
Small piece ginger  

Cooking procedure
Cook the rice and let it cool.

Powder the sesame seeds. Cut green chillies and ginger into small pieces.

Heat oil and add red chillies, peanuts, chana dal, mustard seeds, asafoetida, urad dal. When this turns light brown add green chillies, ginger, turmeric, sesame powder and curry leaves.

Fry for 1/2 minute and add tamarind concentrate and salt. Keep stirring for 1 more minute and add this to the rice and mix well.
