|1 cup||whole green moong dal|
|Soak the moong dal for about 8 hours.|
Grind this with chillies, ginger and salt.
Heat a wide and thick pan and pour 1 ladle full of this batter, spread into a round. Drizzle with oil in the sides and the middle. After it is gloden brown, overturn and cook for 1 or 2 more minutes.
Serve with green chillie chutney or coconut chutney.
