Snacks : French Fries

|Cut your potatoes into thin long sticks. Soak them in ice cold water for an hour or so. Drain
all the excess water.|
Now fry them in hot oil, till they are cooked. Don’t let them turn brown. Finish frying all the potatoes.
Now re fry these fries again in the same oil, now let them turn slightly brown. Place them on a paper napkin to remove excess oil.
Sprinkle salt and pepper and serve with tomato ketchup.
Frying them twice is not a necessity, it will only make them crisp.
If you don’t want to fry them twice, but would like it crisp, you can grease a pan and place the fries on the pan. Make sure you spread them out well.
Now bake them for 5 – 6 mins at 200 degress. Remove, and now fry them. This way, you will not need to fry them twice, and your fries will still be nice and crispy.
