| Dry roast the semiya in low heat till slightly brown. Keep aside. Heat milk and add the saffron, when the milk has boiled for some time, and has reduced in consistency, add the semiya. Let them cook well in the milk. Once the semiya is cooked add your sugar and stir till dissolved. Cook for some more time and garnish. Please don’t stir too much or over cook, otherwise your semiya will become a paste, and it wont look good. Can be served hot or cold, or just at room temperature. |
