Badam (Almond) Kheer

Badam (Almond) Kheer
 

List of ingredients:

20 Nos badam ( almond)  
1 Cup sugar  
10 Strands saffron  
4 Cups milk  
1 Cups water  

Cooking procedure
ALMOND will be refered to as BADAM. ----------------------------------- 1. Soak the Badam overnight in cold water.(Can also soak in hot water in the morning for about 20 minutes if you did not soak it previous night)

2. Peal the skin of the badam. Put the white part inside the skin in blender and add a little water and grind it into a fine paste now add some more water and the consistency of this should be little water.

3. Now add this paste to a deep bottom soup pand and allow it to boil for a while untill the raw smell goes away. Now add the sugar and keep mixing untill the sugar dissolves and allow to boil for another 10 Minutes.

4. Now switch the stove off and add the saffron to it and mix. You can make this a head and add the milk as and when you require. You will start getting a yellow colour after a while.

5. Boil the milk well and add it to the above mix and server it a little warm or you can server it cold too.
Storage tips:
You can make step 1 to Step4 a head and store it in fridge for upto 2 or 3 days. and You can add milk as and when you require.

If you add the milk and keep it will come only for a day or 2 after that there will be a sour taste in it.
