Dessert : Besan Laddu

| 1 cup | besan | |
| 1 cube | butter | |
| 1 cup | finely powdered sugar | |
| Garnish |
| a few | cashews fried in ghee | |
| a few | almonds fried in ghee | |
| Cooking procedure |
| Melt butter in a deep tawa. Reduce the flame, to low, and slowly add your besan and keep
stirring, making sure no lumps are formed. Keep at low heat and keep stirring. You will have
to keep doing it for 50 – 70 minutes till the besan is well cooked. Taste the besan to make
sure it is well cooked. Now add the powdered sugar and fry for about 10 – 15 minutes. Make
sure all the sugar is well incorporated. Remove from flame, add your badam and kaju and mix
well. Allow it to cool. Apply a little ghee on your hands and make into laddus. |
