| Heat ghee in a pan, and add the grated carrots. Keep frying till the grated carrot is well
cooked. Now add the milk and keep stirring till the milk has thickened well. Now add sugar.
You can either increase or decrease the amount of sugar depending on your taste. Keep stirring
again, till it is quite solid, but not too much. Your halwa is done. You can garnish it with elaichi or kishmish or cashews roasted in ghee or almonds roasted in ghee; or all of them. The choice is yours. |
